Andre,
You might be able to find a Factory Service Manual on Ebay. I think there is a company that sells those on a regular basis. Another member might have some more specific information on that. About your engine being locked up, you may be right, the rings may have rusted to the cylinder walls. You may be able to break it free if you use a chemical agent like PB Blaster. It is available here in the USA but don't know about Brazil. Actually, even a generic oil may do the trick; remove all the spark plugs and squirt some oil down each cylinder and let is soak for a few days. If it appears that the oil is seeping down into the crankcase add some more periodically. After a while see if you can break it free by removing all the belts and pulleys and using a 3/4 inch drive socket on the nut on the end of the crank in the middle of the harmonic balancer. You may need a short extension and using the longest/largest breaker bar will make it easier. Good luck and welcome to our site.

I for one don't think you are an irritant. You post a lot of good comments. I first saw your "negative" add on when I was asking for info on plastic chrome plating. (good information from everyone thanks very much)
I sure wish you'd lose that part of your signature. I don't think it's fitting for you. And for newbies to this site it might actually make them think you don't know what you're talking about. This site is supposed to be about and for Olds car guys. Please don't take that comment and hold onto it like a grudge to make your point. Your comments have been positively made many times over my friend.
I could have done this as a pm, but I think its important to all of us to know that we need to respect each other as much for our shared opinions, but also for our differences. Easier to smile than to frown right?
Here's a pic of him and his car a few years back, the same '65 socal22.jpg And here's a vid of him being interviewed at this year's All GM Show. http://www.livecarshows.com/2008LCSshows.html Go to the site, to 2008 shows, then All GM 2008, he's about 15 minutes into it, you might recognize a few others as well.
I just talked to him and he remembers you and the flip nose car you had. He still has an article of it from a magazine it was in. I see him almost every weekend since we live in the same area. He started rambling about old times, especially times when we all went to Terminal Island to race, hahaha!! I've known Spence since 1988 when I turned 16 and part of the OCA and So Cal since then as well. Too cool, I asked him if he knew someone named Joe and your name came up almost instantly!!

What does this have to do with Service Manuals?
What does this have to do with anything?
Instead of trashing someone else's thread, send me a PM, explaining WTF you are talking about.

The small number of troublemakers who resort to personal attacks when they are unable to defend their erroneous (if not downright BS) posts, are either gone or are stopping to think before they press the "send" button.
And that is, as it should be.
The large percentage of members who do read (and understand) what was actually written, have been aware of the facts since the beginning.
And that is, as it should be.
