1980 Olds Cutlass, Rare stainless steel landau

I am restoring a 1980 Olds Cutlass. I know where the car was built(Quebec), sold(Hamilton Ontario, Canada), and how many owners. The car still resides in the same city it was sold in. It has a stainless steel landau roof option that nobody seems to know about. Not even GM Vintage group. I have seen one other car like mine for sale on ebay, built in Lansing, sold in Arrizona. Is there anyone else who could shed some light on this. I have been told a few things, just looking for confirmation. A pic of this car is on my profile. Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Jim.

I won't go as far to say it isn't stock, but I have never seen one before. Looks good though.

Thanks for the replies. This forum hooked me up with a couple in MN that have an 80 with the same roof option, owned since 84. Theirs has two emblems, Cutlass, and extreme, with a calais grille. Mine had only Cutlass when I bought it, couldn't find a good replacement, so I put on NOS Cutlass supreme emblems, as my car has the supreme grilles. The guy I met from AR last year also had the "extreme" badges. Three cars, so far apart. Only questions are, who put these roofs on, and who took "MY" etreme badges. LOL. Comments, replies still welcome.
Thanks, Jim.

Hey Paul. Thanks for the effort. The only two other guys I've met with this type of roof, were on 80's. Both Calais, Mine being the only supreme, I guess that makes mine..... One of a kind?? Who knows. Anybody have plain "Cutlass" emblems. I'm staying in touch here.
Jim.

No matter what the deal is, I think it looks great. Nice condition too. Definately a keeper. Good luck.

Progress.

Hi. Spring is here, so I'm moving the body to the shop where it'll get lifted from the old fame. All the parts are in place, just need more 'time' to work on it. Still aimin for a drive this summer. 'Time' will tell.

It's fairly well explained in this thread:
