1970, 442 tail pipe hangers

Hi all, would anyone have some picks on how the rear exhaust hangers get installed on a 1970 Olds 442. I purchases a set from The Parts Place and not sure how to install them. I searched the site for pics and had no luck.
Thanks, Mike

Not the best pic, but this is a from a 70 442, passenger side.
The rear bumper bracket will have 2 holes in it, as you can see.
If they aren't there it is a Cutlass bracket.

442 tail pipe bracket

I will look tonight after work, do they attach to the trumpets?
Thank you!

You're welcome. The trumpets are welded to the end of the exhaust pipes.
Back when I had my 69 442 on the road, I opted to not weld. Here was my fix, haha. I don't think you can even find a steel coffee can any more. They fit tight and were adjustable, heh.

That's cool, I'm putting a cutout bumper on my supreme. I wonder if I have the provisions for the hangers. Will I have to unbolt my hanger to install the hanger?

Probably won't have the provisions. Do you have a CSM? I would think it would be in
there somewhere.

I couldn't find the dimensions for the holes, but maybe this will help some.
If you don't have one, get one. They are such a valuable resource when it comes to repairs.

E-bay has them off and on. Some of the boys here may have an extra as well.
Go to the parts wanted forum and post an ad. You may get a hit for one, good luck
with that and your car.
