Does anyone have a list of the options offered in 1969 for the A body (Cutlass/442)? I've come across a car with exterior chrome running across the lower portion of the car from fender to fender (about 4" above the bottom of the doors). i've never seen this as most only have chrome around the wheel wells.

That's a Cutlass Supreme. I'll bet the VIN starts off 342xxx.,

 

thanks.....i knew that the Supreme was a trim pkg but had never seen this chrome setup before....photo below..

i found a list of ALL options for the 65-76' cutlass but it doesn't break it down by year, and obviously the car changed a lot.

 

Again, that's not an option. That chrome was standard on the 1969 Supreme.

 

ahhh....you are saying all cutlass supremes in 69' had that chrome.
any idea what other 'standard' options came on the the supreme?

I believe that the standard option had a small 3/4'' chrome piece that ran partially on the middle of the fender then down the middle of the door/doors. I could be mistaken

In addtion to the different molding, the '69 Supreme tailights lenses have a chrome ring not on the S.
