There were two hoods available in 1968. The flat hood was used on all F-85s, wagons, and four doors. The hood with the bulge was used on all non-F-85 2drs and convertibles. The hood with bulge was also used on the F-85 when the Ram Rod 350 (W-31) package was ordered.

Joe,

Wasn't the flat hood used on the Supreme too?

What engine was avalible in the cutlass s ? 455 400 or just 350's and does 1400.00 sound like a good price? the car is about 900 miles from where I live so I am looking at having it shipped or going to get it myself.

'68 F-85 (except the H/O) came with the 250 or 350.

Hard to say good or bad price based on description. Pics would help immensely. Depending on rust it might not be worth anything.

Rust and an honest disciption mean a lot when buying one of these cars. I usually try to figure out the sum of the parts if sold separately and I base my offer on that number. That way, if I find something wrong with the car after I have bought it that may preclude me from being able to do anything with it, I can part it out and at least get my money back. Good luck.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I didnt take pictures of the car but from what i remember it had very little to no rust. So was the bulge hood standard on the Cutlass S or was it optional
