I remember Sherman for sure. Wasn't Sherman part of Rocky and Bullwinkle hour?

My wife said I woke her up one night yelling "help me Mr. Wizard, help"
I remember a carton where a turtle was always going back in time and getting into trouble. The wizard guy would bring him back just in time before disaster struck. Anybody familiar with this one? Possible I had way to much fun in the 70's and dreamt it.

I remember both, thought Mr Wizard was from The Rocky and Bulwinkle show.
I think I will just remember the original and skip the movie.

Sherman was the boy on the R/B show
with the big glasses.
Mr. Peabody was the dog.
Ahhh, youth... As Youkon Cornielus might put.

That's right. I don't know if I knew their
last names though. I had almost forgot
about fractured fairy tales. Same show.

These old gems need to be back on TV.
In keeping with the season, who was
Youkon Cornielus's voice? And what was
the toon?

I don't know who Youkon Cornielus is.I do know who was the narrator for the rocky show as mentioned .It was Bill Conrad aka Cannon or later as fatman from Jake and the Fatman.

I thought it may have been Burl Ives,
but on second thought he was the voice
of the snowman and narrator.

He also sang 'Silver and gold.'

That was Burl Ives singing Silver and Gold in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, right? Not "Cannon."

The only turtle I remember was Touché Turtle .... who dressed as a musketeer and sword-fought his way through toil and trouble...
In fact, my two brothers & I would get in trouble for picking up the phone and saying, "Operator, get me Touché Turtle!"
I see his side-kick was Dum Dum (a fencing dog), but I'd never have remembered that on my own...

Me don't know Yukon Cornelius, neither...

This version looks soooo much more entertaining than the old ones. Cartoons don't usually get my attention but this one sure did. The trailer was actually funny and a great parody of today's societal values.

Very cool - I remember watching those as a kid...
Certainly worth getting on video, should it make it over here.
