I was just thinking this same thing yesterday. Guess great minds think alike!

- Analog/tube radio & stereo equipment along with older stereo LPs

- Old tools, especially factory service tools

- Antique English and Chinese porcelain, 1700's thru early 20th C.

- Mid-century modern furniture

- Space-age and other metal toys

- VERY amateur archaeology

- American Civil War history

- I write a little, nothing published.

- Also have a great curiousity about religions. Between the CW and this, the place is crammed with books.

Besides, at age 55 sports ain't exactly the best thing for me to do. Stuff hurts quicker and hurts longer. Me not into pain.

Mid century modern furniture a man after my own heart. I can't get enough of the goods. Whole house furnished with the stuff.

Modernist and Cubist art

The ladies, love the Ladies. And they dig mid century stuff.

I'm not very hep on modern furniture, but a few years ago I went to the Getty museum and they had some renaissance furniture on display... Man, for a guy who couldn't read or write, he sure must have known his way around a chisel... The detail was ridiculous. I wasn't aware of how much it intrigued me until I went there.

I have interest in most things Vintage. Some things that have been mentioned allready, tube powered radios and furniture, like the stuff one would see on Antiques Road Show. The most fun is trying to identify "old stuff".

Love learning about WWII and its generation and thier sacrifice.

Cooking....indoors and outs. Perfecting smoked meat is a hoot.

Gardening in the summer is worth the work. You get to reap the benefits.

Guitar..defiantly into old tube amp stuff and all the old effects. Gots me a Super Reverb and an Echoplex! I'm not any good at it, but sometimes I make music.

I try to fish....but work gets in the way.

Play bass guitar, thumb picker'. Really want to learn the finger technique. Read a LOT. WWII has always been a big thing; love the Civil War and my great grandfather's heritage in Dockery's Arkansas 19th infantry! Fought at Vicksburg. His tombstone says "Captured 3 times by the Yankees; Escaped three times"!! He must have been a pistol. Toured the battlefield at Vicksburg a few years back; those guys were shootin' at each other with musket rifles at a distance of 25 yards!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love my Olsmobiles, our local Club, and the OCA. Great friends from all. That part began in '94, and still at it, in a big way, especially with Juju's support. Love writing for the JWO. Wish the pay was better. I have learned what "writers' block" is, during the process. LOL!

Bought my 1st Olds in 1980, a 69 442 convertible, been loving them since. Besides the Olds, I enjoy military history, gun collecting, house remodeling, motorcycle touring and foreign travel. Someday would like to combine the last two and take a motorcycle tour of the Alps or New Zealand.

I am a pretty serious runner and I enjoy web designing.

Made a nice deal with my wife that whatever money I make from either of the hobbies can go straight to my car :-)

Boy, I feel pretty one-dimensional compared to you guys! Musclecars, Military Aviation and Sports (motor and stick/puck/ball) are it for me.

Soldier by profession, do WWII living history in what little spare time I have between the car, work, and helping dad with various large and small chores.

"One dimensional" at best...music, not playing or making it but listening to and finding new groups. The heavier the better. Opeth being top of the food chain now, White Chapel and Impending Doom (Christian) coming in close to the top. Definitely not for the faint of heart but keeps the blood coursing through these 46 yr. old veins.
