anyone else watching this wild card race??

 

What a fantastic evening of baseball!

 

wow...what a night - unfortunately, as a Red Sox fan, it served to prolong the enivitable completion of thier collapse - what is it we say? "There's always next year"

 

Typical Red sox....The way they were playing they didn't deserve to be in playoffs...they would have been smoked!!! I lived thru all the moments from Buckey Dent to Bill Buckner
and 75,78 and 86.
The Rays deserve the chance and I think they can win it all again.

 

I agree - they never would have survived the ALDS. Personally, even though I'm a life-long Sox fan (painful memories of 'the little dribbler up the first base line' in '86) I would love to see the Rays go - how can you not root for them - and how can you not love Joe Maddon?? One of the great things about baseball - it's never over until the last strike (just ask Jonathan Papelbon).
