Ok I have to pay for my car on Saturday and I have just moved so my bank branch is a ways away. I can get a bank draft from the branch just around the corner. My question is...will they guy I'm buying the car from banks hold the draft or is it like a certified cheque and be deposited right away?

I won't have time to change branches to be able to get the certified cheque or cash from the local branch so I just need to know if I am going to have the make the hike to the old branch.
