Still cold up your way ???

Hey there Northern Hemispherians.
Little weather update from down here. Yesterday was our 28th Wedding Anniversary so we decided to go to the movies then to dinner.
At 3.30pm when we got to the theatre it was a little over 111degrees. When we came out at 6.30pm it had dropped to 67.1degrees.
The cool southerly change........ fantastic.
The movie.......Avatar.............. fantastic.
I'd left my wallet on the dash and the credit cards melted. Car keys were on the console...couldn't touch them. Tar on the roads melted.
I've said it before and I'll say it again....I AM OVER SUMMER !!!!!

It was quite warm here in Wisconsin, USA today also at 35 Deg F. I went snowshoeing and it was even raining lightly, but it is suppose to snow tonight and be back down to normal by next Wednesday again at about a high of 10 Deg F and -10 at night. The Cutlass is covered in the garage for the rest of the winter and I don't have to worry about anything melting on the car dash for quite a few months yet.

Thanks for update Doug. If I recall correctly from our old fahrenheit days before we went celcius back whenever, 35 Deg is only 3 deg above freezing which ain't warm my friend. The 10 and -10 is pure insanity.
I have a friend in La Crosse Wisconsin who builts Oldsmobiles... mainly Hurst Cars (Ken Kaufmann is his name...really nice guy). I've seen photos of his place under a few feet of snow. A very alien situation to a bloke from down here in heatville. I also know it never gets hot enough up there to melt credit cards.....but apparently his wife gets them pretty warm

We had a cloudy, gray day but 47 degrees!! Heat wave tomorrow... 50 degrees and rain! Then the January thaw comes to an end. Snow and cold coming back in on Tuesday, temps back to the 20's and low teens at night. It sucks!

Colonel... someday, I'm going to live in Arizona - they get those 100+ temps out there, but there is usually a breeze too. It just feels like a blast furnace! LOL!!

I took the Intrigue to the car wash and spent a small fortune getting all the darned salt off of her.... really got the underneath cleaned good, and clear coated the heck out of her all over. Dried her and came home - swept the salt and dried mud crap out of the garage, pulled her in and cleaned and vacuumed the interior. Will detail under the hood tomorrow. She feels much better! She really is Bronzemist instead of a salty shade of gray! LOL!!!

Its been pretty warm here until the last couple of days. Its been cold and rainy. I woke up today and was surprised to see the mountains covered in snow. When I look at them I almost forget Im in Arizona. I cant wait till they open up the moutain so I can go play in the snow.
