Fake Facebook Automotive groups

I don’t hang out in Facebook too much, I’ll check out automotive related groups and a few car show groups to see what’s happening.
One thing I’ve noticed recently are a rash of horribly fake ‘car’ related FB pages. Maybe if you are on FB a lot you've noticed these for awhile, but I've just started to notice them.
Most admins seem to be suspiciously offshore and 95% of the posts are by the admin or individual running the page and they are always the same nature…

Just post a picture of the related car and just a 3 or 4 word nonsense post…
“Sweet Ride!”
“My Favorite”
“1971 442, 100%”

Just rubbish really, utter mindless postings. And as you can imagine, more pics are also garbage AI, typical post examples below….
And of course some dupe will chime in… “I used to have one of those”, “My father had one”, etc… real reply or schill, dunno?
In a couple of the pages I’ve noticed about every 10th post is a post selling a T Shirt or something of that nature by the admin…
I have to think that has to be the real reason for the page, schill garbage posts in order to legitimize and then try to hawk some shoddy merchandise.

I haven’t looked but I have to imagine this 'style' of simpleton page has to be out there for every car brand.
Fortunately it makes the CO Forum even a more valuable asset!

Examples.... AI garbage on that one

Below, what hatch?

No comment....

Actually this is a real car and had been beat to death on this site. There used to be an active Classic Olds members FB page run by I don't know who that has since gone the way of Tshirts and scammers.

Wanta find the problem follow the money.
Even some of the legit mature paid dating sites are not immune. Assume someone is looking to scam you 100% of the time....sad.
Im sooo sick and tired of all of this BS.
Be nice if we could just hit a remote button not just to block a scammer but vaporize the bottom feeding scum...poof.

What is the problem with a short comment? I don't like typing that much, and there's no reason to write a book. Most people (me, I am most people) prefer it short and sweet.

This applies to 95% of ALL car forums. From what I've seen, none are immune to that. Pick and choose what info you wish to align with and go from there. Choose wisely.

Wife is on FB, and I was for about 4 minutes. Immediately was WTF? during that time. I don't care about you taking pics of your food plate at a restaurant, or a pic of yourself eating cheerios while crapping on the *******. I want my mindless posts to have meaning, dammit!
