Racing legend, Rufus Parnell 'Parnelli' Jones past away today June 4th 2024.
His resume in racing was a very rich one. RIP, Mr. Jones.

Mr Jones founded what eventually became American Racing Wheels from a bunch of smaller wheel manufacturers. He started U.S. Mags in 1963 or 1964 and kept absorbing smaller companies.

My cousin had a set of Parnelli Jones Rebels on a 1966 Mercury Cyclone. Gorgeous wheels, right up there with Hurst wheels, but they had a tendency to crack in the lug nut spider area under "hard use". They're hard to find in usable condition now because of that.
