Wonderful looking show, quality vehicles there. Glad you had the chance to go and participate as well as sharing the pictures. Love that Black Vista and that Dark Blue 67 442 with the tri power carb set up that is sharp.
Will they hold this show the same time next year?

Thank you

Keith

Here's the event T shirt. Disappointed that no 73's (besides the Toro) showed up.

The Quad States Show is an annual event and rotates from state to state each year. Minnesota. Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa used to sponsor it. Membership in the Iowa Olds club has dropped to a point of not have enough active membership to host the Quad States Show. As I understand it now, the Iowa State club will be invited in the future but the Meet will be held in the remaining states able to organize it.

The dark blue 442 is a 1966. The big giveaway is the trim piece behind the front wheel well.....

I don't know, maybe the COMPLETELY different front and rear end treatments between 66 and 67 might be slightly more obvious...

The front and rear would be obvious also. This was pretty much a side view, but I did notice it was a 1966 from the grill.

Sorry OLDSter Ralph, I didn't mean to come across like a smartass. The 66 and 67 have very similar profiles.

Thanks for the post. 👍 That is one Oldsmobile Strong show. So many things to comment on. Your car in white looks so good. Thanks again.

Koda you and me both. I better study more. 66-67's look so different.

I agree on the 64 and 65 similarity of the front clip. I owned a 65 442 and I still have to look closely to tell them apart. There was a person who came on here to ask advice about buying 64 Cutlass......Something didn't look right in the pics. The guy went back to the seller and he finally admitted it was a 65 front clip.

Yes they do, but some things are distinctive.
