Lotus Cortina vs Olds Cutti
Fun vid, I actually ignored it in my YT feed being unaware there was an Olds involved. Cortina is a tough little cuss, loved the Olds’ horsepower down the big straight and the run up the back “no name” straight. Brought back memories of driving there a few times, two in particular.
Cars, visible in the Cortina, unload wickedly on the uphill right hander at the top side of the track, iirc Mercedes lost a prototype car in practice or qualifying one year when it backflipped there. The other is just beyond there when you approach the bridge you can’t see the right hand, down hill bend, it is below the horizon, a bit scary for an inexperienced driver (like me). I actually had cars spin out in front of me twice when they blew that bend, undoubtedly misjudged it due to the lack of sight.
FUN AS ALL HELL!!!
