What I'm doing today?

Let's put up anything non Oldsmobile here. Filling Abernethy Saskatchewan's pumps.

Well just finished all my paperwork, for a charge back to vendor on my credit card. We had a trip booked for Hawaii and the condo owner got sick and the booking agency paid him. since they thought we had stayed. Hawaii was under a lockdown with a 2 week quarantine no matter what. We had a one week stay. The booking agency did refund their portion which comes to 8% of the total billing. My wife and I have at least 15 hours into this trying to get this to a final resolution.

Hopefully I will get my money back with 8 pages of e-mails with the booking company and 10 pages text between me and the condo owner. Can't prove phone calls with the booking company due to them using an off shore customer service with people with heavy accents by the name of Steve!

Well I have never posted in the Clubhouse but I see others posting health issues. I am so frustrated. I had a knee replacement on 1/31, spent 5 months in PT was just starting to think life was getting normal and took a fall down a set of outdoor stone steps and broke my femur. Then other fractures showed up and I was told no weight on it for 10 weeks and now they realize my knee has got an issue. Not only can I not work on my car I just can't do much. But limp on crutches out to it and go for a ride. Jeez, 3 months just sitting. PS the bear is huge, whoa time to load the 9mm. The truth is life will go on and I am alive, I can't say that for many friends hitting the late 60's. Life is good, enjoy it!!!

This weekend has been my first weekend off pretty much all year. I been working weekends and late nights since one of our body techs left. So I jumped in the car with my wife and made my rounds and picked up parts I bought from friends finally after waiting almost a month . We also stopped at a local brewery for a few beers and nachos lol . Today I will finally go out in the garage after a 3 week hiatus.

I'm cleaning this weekend. I put hardwood floors in when I refurbed this house, so the routine is vacuum the rugs, roll them up, and vacuum the floor. Spray it down with this wood wash product, wipe with damp old shirt, and let dry. Then put rugs back. If a piece of wooden furniture gets moved, it gets wood polish. This brings books into play, I've got a large library that constantly disorders itself, and the bookshelves have to be unloaded to move them and get polished. Then I sort books. This, and basement, is winter stuff.
