Unwanted search engine
Unwanted search engine
Ever since I loaded FoxFire on my MAC, there has been a search engine pop up called Chill-Tab that tries to be the default. How can I remove it from my system? My MAC is always up to date but this pops up when I use FoxFire. I know how to remove it from default status but can't seem to remove it from my system. Any MAC users with this problem?

It sounds like you have a malware program on your computer. For Windows PCs, Malwarebytes is a great malware removal tool that has a free version. I use it regularly. They do have a Mac version.

By the way, the browser is FIREFOX, not FoxFire. I do know of a few golf courses with Fox Fire in the name. Here's one.

It probably is a malware, but the only time it is a problem is when I use Firefox (got it right this time). It tries to establish itself as the default browser. I will try your link to the malware eliminator. Thanks
