Just like to put this out there to anyone in the New England area and surrounding states... The New England Olds Club is holding their annual fall show on Sunday September 16, 2018 at the Southington Twin Drive-In Theatre in Plantsville, CT. (Rain date is Sunday Sept. 23rd.) They put on a great show and attract 80-120 Oldsmobiles every year they hold it. This is their 22nd year doing the show, and although the venue has changed locations several times to accommodate their needs, I have attended the last 12 or so without fail. Last year they held it at their new location at the drive-in and it gives them the ability to have many more cars on the showfield. It's exit 28 off of Route 84 and only about 2 miles down the road. The address is 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Plantsville, CT. Entry is $15 but pre-1950 cars are free. A copy of the flyer can be found at: www.neolds.com/Showflyer2018.pdf. I live in north central Massachusetts and for me personally it's a 220 mile round-trip, but worth it. Hope to see you there.

 

I was only able to attend it twice in years past but I found it to be a very good show to attend. I'm off that day and will look to take a ride down, thanks for the reminder.

You don't have to pre-register, you can pay that day. I have always paid at the gate.

 

Looks like it's going to be a great day for the show weather-wise, mostly sunny with temps around 80.
