Thanks for all the well wishes fellas. It was a clean break, 3 small incisions and
a titanium rod, a few days in recovery and back to Mena for rehab.
I got back home last eve to a town with no gasoline, weird.
Hopefully, my 1/4 tank will last until more shows up. If not the GMC will be
smoking some from the boat's spare can, ha.

Stupidity has setteled in here in Red Oak and all over Dallas. Gas is not in short supply, just the delivery can't get through. Lines at every station here yesterday, some out of gas. Jumped from $2.09 to $2.69 in a matter of minutes.

The kids told me there was a panic because of the refinery shut downs in Houston.
Social media strikes again I suppose. I thought it was strange there were gas lines when
I filled up in Sulfur Springs off I-30 yesterday afternoon.
Sucks when there is a catastrophic disaster the price gouging begins.

Same thing happened in NY after Sandy. It lasted for about 2 or 3 weeks. People mostly looking for gas to run their generators due to power being out for weeks. Hope everyone gets through this OK. The damage can be overwhelming, so hang in there. Not sure if I will be getting deployed by FEMA next week, but if I'm there and I can help I will. I know PSE&G Long Island sent a wave of Linemen down to restore power, hopefully if not already, you get back online soon.
Just what you needed during hard times. Wishing you, your Dad and all your family the best.

Thanks bud, we were spared here in Marble. Only got a slow 1 1/4" of rain.
The folks on the coast caught it though, over 50". I can't imagine what they are going through.
I have seen reports that Americans are rising to the challenge of helping
one another and it is inspiring to see that.
