Woke up to 7" of snow on the coast

I'm convinced that the world is coming to a end. Woke up this morning to 7" of snow. now that would be okay if I was still in Mi., but i'm on the outer banks of NC. It has cold rained twice a week since thanksgiving, now this.

So now the Outer Banks will be eight inches above sea level.

The Wright brothers would of had to have been bush pilots to fly in those conditions at Kitty Hawk.

Andy will have to tell Barney to take the patrol car down to the filling station and have Goober put snow tires on.

Yeah except Barney slipped in the snow, and shot himself in the foot this morning, so guess the only Police protection we will have for a while is Andy.

Silly Olds people. It's just that global warming they've been cramming down your throat.

30 years ago they were predicting another Ice Age. I think these gubmint scientists need to reset they fancy Atomic Clock. Pretty obvious they doin' the Atomic Dog instead...

Bowwowwow yippy-yo yippy-yay bowwow yippy-yo yippy-yay.

It was snowing here at 0730 but the sun is out now (1015), temp is up to 38 and the stuff is goin' away from here- which is how it should be. I may get by and not even have to clean off the wagon and truck.

John- at least y'all have a plow. NCDOT in its infinite wisdom moves all the plows from Caswell-Person to Raleigh-Durham area to clean roads, then they'll move them back up here- TO PLOW US 158, when NC 86 and US 501 are the artery routes thru these counties!

Don't even ask why. Nobody here understands it. Some fresh-out-of-college-boy traffic engineer not originally from NC came up with all that stupidity.
