Math was my major in college - the path of least resistance for me. I hated writing essays and term papers!

The weirdest part about that ad - there are only 4 of the spoked rims, not 5!

Did I miss something?

Ha ha ha!

That's what I was thinking there were four, six spoke rims and Joe P was searching for 5-spoke and that is what he found.

The wheels have at least 5 spokes. What's the problem with a bonus spoke?

Huh? Still looks like 5 to me.

Shows my mind at work after 6 straight hours of CAD work.
Or is that 4 hours? Hmmm....

"One, two, five!"
"No, three, sir!"
"Right! - Three!"

"came off from" surely isn't the king's english....almost as bad as "needs repaired" or "needs painted" and the like I so often read here. Glass houses.

Thirty years ago, a friend of mine was the Director of Tax for a major international company. While interviewing for another job, one of the questions they asked him was "what is 1 + 1?" His response was, "it is typically 2, but I can make it any number you want." He was offered the job. True story. He is now the Director of International Tax for one of the largest airplane manufacturers in the world. I guess it pays to be creative with numbers.

By the way, there ARE only 5 spokes, the other one is a handle to pick it up.

Well, when you're looking at the Craigslist listings, all you see is the title of the ad. "5 spoke rims" could be Cragars, Torq Thrusts, etc. It's not until you open the ad that you find out that the seller is just as adept at writing descriptive titles as he is at counting.

Ironically, however, my 62 F-85 uses the same 4 x 4.5" bolt circle as the early Accords.
