Talk about getting beat at your own game.
I know... the Blue Jays won the series, once.

The joys of having a good, hot goaltender. In a short tournamet you can go a long way. I wonder if miller would like to play with the caps for the rest of the year?

Actually, we outplayed them. They out "goaltendered" us. It's not the first Olympics where we were beat by the Americans. They beat us in 1960. Besides, we can't beat them forever. In the final 5 minutes, other than the empty net goal, the only American to touch the puck was Ryan Miller. We'll have to regroup and beat the Germans and then the Russians if we want a shot at the US again, (should they win their next game). Actually it's good for hockey. Look at the women. We knew before the games started that the gold medal game will most likely be Canada - USA.....again. They're the only two decent womens team out there. At least the men's game will be a little dramatic.

Oh yeah, congrats to Sweden on their shutout victory over Finland.

The Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan had a sign "Canadians & Americans, brothers in arms...but not on ice - Go Canada Go"

Old picture...same outcome. In case anyone doesn't know what I am talking about.
