I would like to help out a deserving member here who has had a couple years of hard times. He is a true Oldsmobile Hobbiest and a member of our community here.
If anyone here would like to contribute a few bucks to help out our member, I will put it toward a Summit Gift Card and send it out to the person in the U.S.A.
I will keep track of everyone that contributes and post it by months end (may) First week of June at the latest, I will also post who the person it will be sent to on that date.
You could PM me and let me know if you would like to donate a few bucks and also post here please.
I will be away for our long weekend but Ill be here next week Tuesday evening, please keep this thread going while I'm away so that many members have a chance to see this.

I'm taking off for the weekend, won't be able to get to the PM's until next Tuesday evening.
I just hope that I can remain healthy and accident free until retirement.
I don't know what I would do if something went wrong in life, my savings certainly wouldn't carry us into retirement.

Ah man, My Wife is awesome. Considering she was never a car gal. Its all my wife!! I'm cheap haha.
We spoke about it over the long weekend and she mentioned we would match all donations!!!
I dam near fell off my lawn chair!!

I'm going to wrap this up on Sunday June 8th , We have 5 guys that have donated for the cause.
A total of $110.00 so far.
I know a few more guys have PM'd me so Ill keep this up for another week, please don't feel obligated.
I was hoping to give a gift of $500.00, We still plan on doing so, We don't mind putting in the rest of the money towards a nice gift. You help has been great guys

I would like to thank the 6 guys here who gave a little to help our member out.
We will be away for the weekend, upon our return my wife will be purchasing the gift card and sending it off.(Monday)
Given that 6 members contributed we will not post the members name to whom the gift card is going here in the forum.
I will ask our member to PM each of you that helped in making this a great gift.

Hi Rick,
We were hoping to reach the $1000.00 mark TBH. $500.00 doesn't really go far today when you get behind.
I do know that it will help out tremendously. Even though ther was only 6 of us, we all put a nice gift card together that will assist in car repairs.
