So who have you seen recently?

Anybody seen any good shows recently. I have recently seen Three Dog Night with The Guess Who, before that I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders with the Turtles, and recently the touring portion of the Beach Boys.

I haven't seen any big name bands for some time.

The most recent show I've seen was at one of our local gambling boats venues...The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra performed the music of Led Zeppelin. It really was an awesome show. A Zeppelin tribute band along with the orchestra.

I saw Survivor last night. They were good, for them. I couldn't help thinking of Spinal Tap and the scene where they are playing a show at an amusement park and the sign says, "Puppet Show and Spinal Tap." Had fun with my friends though. Laughed alot!

Saw Blue Rodeo - Canadian band. Saw them back in the 80's and they still put on a great show.

A friend called me a year or so back with an extra AC/DC ticket. We were way up front. For some old rock and roll dudes, they blew the doors off the place.

April Wine played at my high school Royalty Ball (before they were famous). Gary Pucket was just here (Casino) and I'm contemplating if I'm going to see Neil Sedaka in September. The Beach Boys are here this month. Wouldn't mind seeing them again. Last time I saw the Beach Boys was at the Montreal Forum in 1977.

You should definitely go see Neil. The Beach Boys won't be exactly the same as you saw in '77. Their ranks have changed a lot over the years with the deaths of Dennis and Carl Wilson as well as people coming and going from the band.

I saw Deep Purple a couple of months ago. Front row centre stage at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Great show.
