It was an all original California car sitting in basically a desert under a tarp. It spent it's whole life in California because it still had it's original blue "68" license plates on it. Had it left the state and came back, they would not be there. The ideal candidate for a "barn find" restoration.
Being from California, I can 95% be sure it had no rust of any significance and it looked all original and unmodified. It did have minor body dents, surface rust on the likely original paint and torn up upholstery, so it was not just a buff and go type deal. It needed a complete restoration, but it will be a relatively easy restoration compared to what I see others here doing.
It would not surprise me in the least if this car gets a complete frame off restoration and ends up in a Barrett Jackson auction. It's the kind of car you could make money on.
