Funny story. I go to this show every year, it's the largest show in the area with usually 4-500 cars. It has a carnival, a big vendor area selling their crafts and stuff, with a lot of attendees that come from all over. It's a participant vote type award show for the different classes. I knew I had to leave early and chased off a bunch of people who were going to vote for my car politely stating that fact. After I left, I got a text from a friend who said I won second in my class (Classic Car 1966-1987) and he accepted the plaque for me. Needless to say I was shocked and proud because I think there are way more worthy cars than mine. Sometimes you never know, maybe the sun hits it just right or you just happen to have found the perfect spot to show your car off.
