I like this guy, Steve Magnante, seems real enough,
although the facts / numbers must have been looked up by someone to be rattled off like he does.
for me it mostly new info - Fun Facts +-
LOL definitely no drama !

on the other hand check out All Girls Garage - they work on a 71 Four Forty Two Tribute (as the opening announcer says) LOL

Steve doesn't need to look up much, he loves the history of much of this, and is a walking book of automotive knowledge.

Occasionally I would watch all girls garage if the project car interested me. Not anymore. I can’t stand the giggle-fest that passes for a automotive show.

The other 2 hosts (can’t recall their names) were at least easy on the eyes and made it somewhat tolerable. Not anymore.

Don’t get me started on “four forty two”!!!!

Steve Magnetea IS a walking encyclopedia of automotive knowledge. I have talked to him a couple of times during some of Hot Rod magazines events. He is the kind of guy that might forget family names, but never forget obscure automotive alpha numeric codes or production info. He’s the kind of guy most of us WANTED to be, but outgrew that stage of life once we became married a d domesticated.

Things like washing car parts in the dishwasher, heating bearings in the oven, freezing parts, the kind of stuff the girlfriends/wife’s wouldn’t appreciate.

That show isn't focusing on the males in the hobby, industry. But the females that might have an interest but are/were on the fence on getting into it. It has helped many jump into the hobby and automotive field , with, "Ya, I can do that".
I have asked a few that start class, if there was something that opened them up to he field, or hobby. be it A family member or. And more than a few stated, seeing Females working on vehicles showed it wasn't looked down upon as their mothers had told them.
I am all for more females that have a interest in vehicles,
Many men in the hobby ,wish their girlfriends/wives did.
