RIP my friend "Gord Downie"!!
We lost an awesome musician on this side of the pond last night!! At age 53, A true friend, ultimate Canadian guy, just loved this country, inspired many, a Hipster trying to make it better.
Brought many good things to light here in Canada.
We all knew it was coming, just didn't want to see or face that day.
You'll always be remembered Gord!!

Its been talked about, it will be difficult to find a replacement front man like Gord.
AC/DC did well with Brian Johnson so you never know, the Hip may find just the fit.

AC DC had to be the luckiest band in the world toget Brian Johnson to replace Bon Scott, w similar sound and style many never new they had two lead singers.
I was at a conference in the late 90s when a canadian attendee introduced me to TTH, at the time he equated them to the canadian version of pearl jam. After the conference he sent me a mix tape w mostly TTH on it i played the magnetic particles off that tape LOL, but i had to disagree w his assessment of TTH being the canadian PJ....they were much better
