I always enjoyed the roles he took - good actor. First movie (a classic) I saw him in was 'Castle Of The Living Dead' (Horror film, 1964).

Really liked him in Kelly's Heroes as Oddball. RIP Don.

 

One of those actors who could play any role thrown his way and play it extraordinarily. Comedy, drama and everything in between.

His roles in "Ordinary People" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" were understated but brilliant.

 

Ditto here. I enjoyed his acting in any role he played. RIP sir!

I liked him because all his roles, he wasn't a dick in any of them that I can recall.

 

My first memory of him is Invasion of the Body Snatchers, then Kelly’s Heroes. He played a good role in Space Cowboys as well.
