RIP BB King
RIP BB King and Lucille, he was one of my favorite musicians. What he has done for modern music can not be described in word easily. Whether you were a blues fan or not, everyone knew who B.B. King was. He performed until he couldn't perform no more. Had a pleasure of seeing him concert and meeting him on several occasions.
One of the greatest has passed. RIP

A true giant has passed.
Cousin had some BB records back in the late 60s and a fairly high-end Fisher component stereo to play them. All my folks listened to was country (probably why I can barely tolerate it to this day) and the first time I heard Lucille scream it sent chills up my 13-year-old spine. I knew then there was better music than that insipid country mess I'd been forced to hear all my life.
