R.I.P. Carl Reiner
He made it to 98. I'm disappointed to discover that he's not going to live forever.

Do you admire Carl Reiner? He impressed me as a person very much a legend in his own mind. I never liked his work at all, my parents who were religious TV watchers also were repulsed by the DVD show. They didn't buy in to the representation of the 'Camelot' life which really didn't exist for most people. Reiner was a in-crowder who being anointed got a gold star for anything he touched. Much like Adam Sandler, I just don't and never did 'get it'.
The rest of the cast put together did not and could not equal the contribution and impact Rose Marie had on entertainment in the last century, and I give Reiner credit due or not as producer for including her presence which cast a huge shadow over the others in the show and must have bolstered it's legitimacy then, in and out of the industry.
