power seats
power seats
This is a 'new' old thread.
Stringbander was the last person to mention the " nylon coupler'
for the seat motor to the "transmission" and had mentioned "I believe " that they were found on Ebay. My question now is just what description
was used to find it (them). I have tried all the names I could think of with no luck so far.
I need one or more for my 84 cutlass supreme brougham , among
other things
Thanks for any help . !!

I can't say for certain, however, they look to me like the later speedometer coupling where the cable joins up with the speedometer head. I I don't know if they are replaceable. I could use about a half dozen of them for my Cadillac power seat, because they are all broken. I did search eBay, and did a Google search also, but came up empty. Will check with a friend tomorrow that works at a GM dealership.
Junkman: Thanks for your reply , but the "coupler " I need is that wich couples the drive motor to the "transmission", which I think is a plastic coupler and also the shaft and gear wichcouples to the "drive gear" on the transmission.I have been offered one unit from a gentleman on ebay , 'free', so I'm waiting to see that one before I go any further.
Have a good day my friend.
