I have three cats and two dogs. My female cat does not like these two boys much. So not in any pics just this kitten and the big 22 pounder. The tabby likes warm bodies to sleep on. The brown dog is Chica we thought it was a Chiquita.
Brother and sister, we rescued them a year ago after they were abandoned and left to their own devices for two months during our coldest winter in years.
Great idea, Gerald. Everybody love pics of pets, and a good way to spending social distancing! Here a pic of our old boy Jack. oh he wanted that pheasant!! This pic is thru a french door. We really miss him
I went out and got a pet who's not too lazy for doing household chores. I could even go on vacation, without having to worry about it hungering and thirsting. The neighbor's pets will keep it fed

Oscar. We had to have put down a couple years ago. I miss him Lucy. Had to have her put down 3 years ago. The short life of pets really sucks!! Slams the cat. Mojesha the Dalmatian. The dog was named after a character on Power Puff girls. The kids wanted the name, I didn’t. I was overruled. 😡
J.J the cat. The most obnoxiously loving cat. Almost impossible to read the paper, book, watch TV, do almost anything without her in your face wanting attention.
Dusty the cat Norman the bearded dragon.

They are look very lovable, well except the bearded dragon, Matt... We have 4 dogs who roam pretty freely and come see me at the barn. My favorite is Ruger, the neighbors big black lab who looks similar to yours, Gerald. I will have to get a pic of him. He is a pleasure. I wish I had a pic of our Blue Healer, Grace, we had before Jack. She would roll a 3-4" diameter branch around full speed with her nose! She could steer it around on the grass and go like hell! People that had never seen it before would call their spouse to come see her do it. Great memories. Yeah they don't last long enough.
We sort of rescued these two from from people who could not keep them. Riley the golden we got about 9 years ago. Kobe the doodle (Yes, named after the late great) is about 3 we got him last year.
Happy Easter to all. The day to celebrate the greatest Day in human history...Pictured is Zore, we couldn't have asked for a better, sweeter, protector, loving companion..
This is Ella, doing her favorite thing, seeing the neighborhood. She is a Bichon/poodle mix that I rescued. My first small dog, and the best choice I ever made; she is 11 now and she saved my life.
We watched our 7 year old granddaughter Monday, needless to say she's a bucket full of energy, she ran up stairs and I asked the wife why she wasn't watching her, she said what could she possibly get into...
Needless to say somehow the cat went into the heater duct, that's the story we got, nevermind the vent is 2 feet off the floor and it's been open since he was a kitten.
Pictures is from my basement, don't know how the cat made it down 2 stories without getting hurt or cut by a screw or the fall.
Waiting about 10 years from now to see what the real story is lol
I agree, but that's for cats, dogs, and small birds. If you want something with a longer life span get a big bird like a parrot or eagle, a turtle, or a cuddly elephant. If you get them young, be sure to put them in your will. They will likely outlive you.
This becomes a problem for us who are of the older persuasion, should we get a new pet that may outlive us or skip the love and attention we get from our buddies because we don't want to burden our relatives with our adopted friends...... Tedd
