Pics from Mogadore Summer Fest Show

I picked out the Oldsmobiles to post first, lol! Nice to see a few of them there! I thought of Ken when I saw the 442, lol! Poor thing smelled like moth ***** though!!! It was nice!! Haven't seen it before.

The red 67 Delta drop top is for sale. It's supposed to be kinda rare - read the window placard I took a pic of. He's asking $45,000!!!! It is a beautiful car though! He got a top 10 trophy. Should have had best of show in my opinion instead of Mr. Mirrored Chebelle again!

I hate that I can only post 20 pics at a time. Makes it hard to choose which ones to post.

Now that's my kind of show, they have some shade trees. Great looking cars. I would imagine if he gets his asking price for the '67 Delta 88, that would be a record price for the Delta. Thanks for sharing.

I hate to speak ill of another '67 Delta 88 owner, but this guy is scary.

First, total production of '67 Delta 88 convertibles was 2,447, not the 1,124 he says. This figure is right out of Setting the Pace.

Second, where does he get that business about how many of them came with the 425? First of all, production information is not available to that level of detail.

More importantly, ALL '67 Delta 88s came with the 425. So all 2,447 of the '67 Delta 88 convertibles came with the 425.

Third, and I cringe when I see people do this, and Oldsmobile owners should know better, it's OLDS without the apostrophe!!! How many times do you see someone spelling it OLD'S as though it belongs to someone named OLD?

At $45,000, I wish him all the luck in the world. I'd love to hear that my car is worth proportionately more. But the Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of a '67 Delta 88 convertible in #1 condition, which means better than showroom new and not driven but trailered everywhere it goes, at just about half his asking price at $22,000.

I figured you all would know the stats on that car, lol! It must have set practically it's whole life to only have 19,000 miles on it. Sitting is not good for cars! It's a beauty, but I think that price is kinda high........

OK, I'll grant that the unusually low mileage will add some value. But that might make his car worth $12,000 to $15,000 instead of the about $10,000 that it's actually worth.

Thanks for posting the pictures Sandy. Thanks for showing me the 76 442. It has the same white interior except my "compati-colour" is blue (dash, carpet etc). Looks like the engine is painted 455 blue but couldn't tell if it's an actual 455 car.

I've had my 442 for 32 years now and the only time there was another one at the same show as me was in Lansing at the 100th Anniversary, and it was a 350 car. They're as fine as frogs hair and as rare as hens teeth. Thanks again Sandy.
