Unhappy Not sure where to put this..Neutral safety switch

Non Oldsmobile, I have a dilemma I left the switch on the BMW z3 and battery was dead dead (no juice) my bad. Charged battery to 13.3 volts and still no start everything else has power, lights, windows, dash everything but I don't here the solenoid at the starter clicking or anything related to the starter making any noise when I turn the key and step on the brake, it's a automatic.

Does any one know it a really dead battery will arm the security system in one of these german machines and if so how do I reset it so I can start the Bitch..... Tedd

Discharged batteries can create all kinds of screwy electrical problems.

If you have no key fob, what happens if you lock/unlock the doors s couple times? Will that disarm the security system?

Did the car have a fob? Anything in the owners manual?

I'll try the lock unlock with the key thing and I don't have a owners manual and it's a 1997 z3 BMW and It may have had a fob at one time. I do know that the key is some how connected to the security system and is sanative and inoperative if you spray WD 40 in it. Bells and whistle blow if you try the key but that was a few weeks ago Tedd
