North Texas Oldsmobile Club Zone Show

Here is the flyer for the North Texas Oldsmobile Club (NTOC) Zone Show being held in Glen Rose Texas on October 4th, 2025. I was foolish enough to serve as chairman this year. I have a great co-chair who lives in Glen Rose. We are planning on a really good show. There is a pull-down tab on our website for the show. Here is the link to the website. https://www.northtexasoldsclub.com/

You got a pristine car that has been very well maintained and won lots of trophies.

I have heard stories from other members about when they would make the trip to OCA Nationals, every time they stopped, John would be wiping the car down. I have no problem believing that story.

Indeed he did. Wasn't easy for him. I purchased It April 22nd. It is a beautiful car and did need some normal maintenance items. I have been accused of going overboard with my cars to make them "like new".

My promise was to never sell the car without calling John first. Not sure I can part with It now!

I am really surprised the car needed that much work. I know John is looking for an 84 now.

John took amazing care of the car. It was just time for some things to be replaced. So thankful he entrusted It to me.

My post was clearly intended as a joke. The car had always been hyper-meticulously cared for in my experiences. Just like all of his cars.

I reached out to a former colleague and friend this morning for use of his trailer. He was gracious enough to loan it to me. I guess I’ll be obligated to give the coupe it’s bi-annual wash..😂. It’s been a moment. I’ll send registration next week. I’m not staying though, in early on Saturday and returning in the evening. Show only, no judgment, just leisurely fun and visitation.

The Zone Show is a month from today. If you are planning on attending, I ask that you get your registration by the 15th. I realize the Registration Form says the 30th and I have no idea what I was thinking when I selected that date. I would not even have the registration by the day of the show. I need all the registrations I can get so I can order tee shirts and know how many award plaques to order plus how many folks to plan for on the BBQ buffet Saturday night. I hope to see many of you there.

Regards,

Glenn Hargrove

Our Zone Show is a week from Saturday. We have had lots of cooperation from the city. The weather is supposed to be a high of 89° and partly cloudy with no rain. This is going to be a fun event. We would love to see some of you guys and gals there. Not too late to register.

I am still planning on coming, but it'll be without my '68 as I'm still working on the interior.
I'll be there part of the day, just a spectator and not staying. Most likely going to ride my Green Kawasaki z900rs down. This'll be my first Olds show to even go to since I got away from it all in the early 2000's 😔, very much looking forward to this! Going to the Good Guys Summit show tomorrow.

I have lots of still shots that I have not even seen yet since I had somebody else use my camera since I was somewhat busy during the show. I have not downloaded any of the pictures yet. I am still sorting out the money we collected. I was pleased with how the show went.

Wow.
Not one, but two curved dash Oldsmobiles.
Thanks for the video.

The interesting thing about the Curve Dash Oldsmobiles is that they are both from Glen Rose which has a population of about 3,000 people. Photos to come today hopefully.

Here is a link to my flicker account that has all the pictures of the Zone Show with the exception of the last few awards after my camera card filled up. I hope this link works. It was a really good show according to many people that told me so. We did have two 1904 Curve Dash Oldsmobiles which were both from Glen Rose. There are some duplicates in here (probably a lot) since I had somebody else using my Canon camera all day and I took several with my phone. Glen Rose was a great place for a car show and we had tremendous support from the city. We will be holding the show again next year in Glen Rose. Thanks to all the people who attended and made this show a success.
