I attended the Saturday test runs of the 2022 Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb and accompanying car show in Newport, Indiana with friends this weekend. I drove my 73 Ford Club Wagon up there to be in the car show, and to give my friends and I a place to stash coolers, stuff, tables and chairs, etc, that was not out in the parking area outside of town for the spectators.

Oldsmobile highlights were Bob Kerr with his 04 Curved Dash and Rusty Berg with a 22 Olds V8. You could walk the car show, walk the hill climb cars queued, walk the swap meet and flea markets, and watch cars go up the hill. The National Anthem was sung twice on Saturday, and it was meant by all there. There was a parade of local politicians, dignitaries, beauty queens, sports teams, unions, and fire brigades after the runs up the hill completed.
