Does anyone here remember or know exactly when new car production/changeover took place? My dad worked at the Fisher Plant in the 40's and 50's and I remember taking vacations in late August. That, as I remember was because it was changeover at Oldsmobile. I ask this since the '62 Jetfire I now own shows that it was built the 2nd week of Aug. 1962 at the Southgate, CA factory. I am thinking it may have been one of the very last Jetfires built in the 1962 model year. Anyone?
