Hi everyone.

Is there anybody here that worked at or has knowledge of Mitchell Motors of Pensacola, Florida? They've been gone from there many years but I'm looking for any information I can gather on them, I have a car that was bought new there in 1970. Thought it would be interesting to know something about them.

Mike, There was also a Mitchell Motors in Hotlanta. Don't know if it's the same folks

 

Mike - Here's a nice tidbit piece of fanfare on Mitchell Motors location in Pensacola, FL during the 1950's w/ a slew of 1956 Oldsmobile's in the picture.
There may be some folks on this thread (below) who may be able to help you out or know if the current Mitchell Motors is related to the older Mitchell Motors.
Did you try calling these guys to see if there's a connection?

Norm I hadn't considered that Mitchell Motors was still in business there, I assumed they left when the building was torn down. A gas station is on the site now.

I might look them up next time I'm in town. I got the impression they were related to MM in Atlanta from reading the comments of those pictures.
