45" long fiberglass hulls and wood, 11cc glow fuel outboard and a 27cc gasoline inboard. The outboard goes around 50mph the inboard around 60mph, very fun and loud.

I've seen a couple people w/ these along the Atlantic coast (where I live) - very, very fast.

Finished another one. The 7.5cc nitro engine fired up instantly and ran lovely, producing a wonderful aroma of burning methanol, nitro methane and castor oil. The battery used for the starter came from my '70 Cutlass.

Always loved that aroma when flying U-control model planes in the '50s.

Still have the scars from when the KB 035 with the speed prop used to kick back and bite me. Had a Ringmaster that went pretty well with that on it

All my outboards are K&B, they're nice running engines.

Nice, that's a 3.5 which was my first outboard I ran year's ago. I still have it, I'm in the process of building another boat for it. Wood models thake a lot of time. Buy it just for display. Fuel is expensive, one 16 oz tank full costs as much as a 16 oz glass of Guinness at the pub.
