Merry Christmas morning everyone.

Looks like ya done good Rob, Be awhile before presents are opened around here, the family shows up around 10:00 for the big breakfast feed my wife and I put on every year. I have been buying presents all year long for the 48 Olds so I don't expect a thing but new underwear and socks. I have my dual 4 barrel manifold with carbs and hanging pedal setup. and the last of the parts for the 455 so my present will be the start of the running gear put together, brake lines, fuel lines, etc. wifey opened the check book to get'er done can't ask for more than that.

Merry Christmas Pat! I've not seen pictures of your 1948 in a while. Next time your in the garage would you snap some shots of the parts collection? Do you have a heated garage or will you have to take lots of hot drinks out there to turn some wrenches? John

I have a heated garage plus hot drinks. I plan on laying out the parts and taking pictures next week before sending the block off to the machine shop. I will have them do the lower end and degree the cam and I'll take it from there. Getting excited about finally starting after a 2-year delay. Then I will start a build thread.

Merry Christmas Pat... Remember, the old socks are good for cleaning rags, providing you wash them first......
We will be having dinner and more gifts at my sister's place. I will have more updates when I get back late tonight.
DO post a thread on your 48 - it has been too long now!
