I received an email with that link a couple weeks ago. It's a nice service and I hope my postcard makes it to military personnel.

Done .....thanks for the link.

Too bad the rules of engagment will cause so many to not make it back.

I say turn them loose to do their job or bring them home!!!

can someone enlighten me on what the new rules or SNAFU with the seals is? I know our troops are being put under unecessary scrutiny by our government trying to deflect blame. They have a hard enough job to do over there .

Yes, a good time for us to remind the troops we support them!!!

I agree with the previous comments. We should all get behind them and help them win the war and get it over with or remove them from the shooting gallery.

Some people seem to have an agenda that uses our soldiers as pawns in their schemes. Those people should be on the front lines blindfolded and looking for IED's with a stick!!!

Unfortunately our troops are held to a high standard when it comes to protecting these scumbags once they are in custody. It is not hard to understand the emotional response of the seals and personally would not be too hard on them , but the eyes of the world on watching and the media can propell it out of proportion.
With these guys (terrorists) I think it should be 'do onto others as they will do onto you'

We have rules the enemy has none, the beheadings are an example of their standards. We for the most part adhere to the rules on engagement but under the heat of the moment things happen. This is a political war make no mistake about it. The military does not control what happens over there the politicans do. I am of the age that remembers a similar action that didn't turn out well either nor did the Korea conflict.

Send a card support our troops. For the grace of god take care of our boys and girls.

Don't we have more important things to focus on, rather than court martialing 3 of our finest for..."punching" a terrorist in the stomach?!?

Come on US Government, get real...this is a non-issue and yet another colossal waste of time and resources.

1) I have yet to see or hear ANY evidence that a crime was committed

2) The terrorists are trained to cry "abuse" every time they are captured. We're actually going to court martial 3 soldiers based on "his" word alone?!?

3) Even if it was true that the terrorist got "an upset stomach" during his capture...boo f$#%n hoo! Let's not forget the heinous crime for which he was captured.

4) Leave the soldiers alone and focus on the real enemy.

Really , if you remember the landings at normandy after securing the beach head and starting inland the troops had to shoot the german soldiers that surrendered because they could not let prisoners slow them down at that time. it was war and crap like that happens sorry to say but courtmartialing 3 troops for hitting some guy who participated in slicing the heads off of 3 Americans . Give me a break.

"War is Hell"

There is always colateral damage and mistakes with Friendly fire. I just can't understand why some people think wars are fault in an exact manner. It is total confusion. Always has been always will be.

Anyone who thinks otherwise should have a gun put in their hands and then drop them in the middle of a war zone with bullets wizzing by their heads.
