Love it! My daughter was unsure if it was cool or not (8th grade)....then, when her fellow students mentioned how awesome her mom's car was, she now wants to take it everyday.

Cool! Way to arrive in style amid a sea of minivans and camrys. Maybe just me, but the "wow" factor from kids and non-car folks when driving to otheriwise mundane chores can be more satisfying than talking with knowledgable car guys at shows and such. Might just create another fan that will help keep more old cars on the road.

Couldn't agree more - personally I love the history, the quality, the pride that was part of these cars - but nothing to me is better than the looks, smiles, and thumbs-up that you get driving around town. My daughter is hooked and routinely points out "old cars" to me - most of which are mid-80's relics - but she at least knows these look older, or different, than the norm. As they say, "Take a kid to a car show"

My 7th grade daughter loves it when it take her to school in my project Cutlass. Cant wait til it's nice then she will really love it. I'm amazed at the positive comments I get on my old beater.

These are my daughters in the convertible at Fireworks on the Fourth of July.
They both love it. My wife's finally starting to get over 8 years of being a widow too

very cute, how do you say no to her!?!

Yep, most of the time my girls are more than happy to take the Olds but sometimes its not cool or their hair will get ruined etc etc....

I remind them that we walked everywhere and if we didn't we took an old bicycle and if not we took the green limousine (the Chicago Transit Authority Bus or El) not a ride in a car

She has your heart in her pocket. Just wait until she asks for the keys. It will happen sooner then you think.
