Just checked into my hotel room, look what I found!!!

I just checked into my hotel room after spending the day at the olds meet. As per my usual routine, I always do a bed bug inspection. Look what I found under the mattress!!!

I understand what happens in hotel rooms, if you bring something like this, why not take it with you when you leave?!

Clearly, someone had some fun.

Needless to say, I requested a different room. Clearly, the staff doesn’t pay too much attention to details during cleanup!!!

Oh that's a good one !!
I am sitting here laughing my *** off !!
About 20 years ago we took the kids to Disneyland we stayed off the property across the street at a place called the Candyland motel, having kids my wife always conducts a search upon leaving the room to make sure the kids have not left anything behind while searching under the bed she found a very nice black faced Bulova chronograph watch, I don't much about watches and I rarely wore one but I knew Bulova was a brand name, upon check out I turned the watch in thinking the motel would have the record of the previous guest, however I did request if no one claimed it I would like to have it. I don't know how hard the motel tried to find it's owner but about a month later I received the watch in the mail with a brief note stating it had not been claimed.
Now here is the funny thing I lost the watch also, I have no idea where !! I just know it disappeared one day and I don't know where.
P/S sometimes people are not very discrete, as a mechanic I used to find it amazing what people would leave on the front seat of their cars !!
also we had to record license plate numbers on our repair orders if there were no plates on the car we were advised to look for registration in the glove box no telling what you would find there, guns, condoms and very interesting photo's.
I had two friends that worked at a GMAC repo lot, they amassed quite a interesting collection of photo's and other things found in vehicles.

When I bought my house, before I moved in we were doing some upgrades. The previous owner still had some stuff in the garage he was suppose to pick up later that day. I was taking some stuff out to the trash can and noticed, still in the box a ball gag and a sex swing that hangs from a door way. I told my uncle and my wife so they went to go look. Right at that second the previous owner pulled up and saw us looking. You could just here him and his wife laughing as the realized what we were looking at.

Ten years ago I checked into a Marriott JW in Koalina Hawaii with my family. I noticed a briefcase sized Pelican case under the bed with tell-tale weight indicating a firearm. I notified the front desk and they collected the case and informed me that local law enforcement had been conducting business recently. I also recovered a 3/4 full bottle of Pisco behind the bed of a Marriott JW in Lima Peru. I poured it out without absolute certainty of the content.

Eewww... Exactly why I do not like being in a hotel. No tell motel.

I was a bellman/doorman van driver for a nice hotel. I have stories all day long.

I just finished breakfast. It will be a few hours before I check in here again, plenty of time for breakfast to digest. Feel free to share those stories. 🤮

Yeah not so much. Met plenty of cool celebs etc. Some not so cool. Terry Bradshaw was absolutely one of the coolest people to everyone. Super nice real guy. This was 25+ years ago. All the members of The Moody Blues were all super cool too. Stayed at our hotel every year.

I've have found chocolates on my bed pillow at check-in, but never therapeutic devices.

I forgot about this story, my wife reminded me. A bunch of years ago, and coincidently this was a Chevelle national meet, we were able to check-in early, about 11 am. When we entered the room we found a couple fooling around in the bed. Apparently hotel staffers. We requested a different room.

Rest assured, the box and contents remained right there.

When cleaning out my first home right after purchasing, I found one of those in my closet. I think I wound up wiping the whole room down with bleach.

If I was the clerk, I would have told you, "My mistake, sir. We usually charge a premium for the rooms that come with recreational equipment, but in this case we'll honor the quoted rate."

no way to say this without being “politically incorrect” but a statement like that would far exceed the clerk’s language capabilities.

I actually have seen stuff like this in a room before. The ole "glory hole shower curtain comes to mind, pardon the pun.
