I have served on three jurys in my lifetime and they were all different. I have been jury foreman twice. Now that I am past 70 I don't have to serve anymore. Glad of that. Hang in there.

I know it's everyone's civic duty and it kinda sucks but when they ask you at selection you can say
He was arrested so he must be guilty right? That will get you out of it every time, ha.

At least you have access to your computer or phone to post.. so that's a plus!
Being stuck in lock-down with just the other jurors, with no contact to the outside world until deliberations... that is much worse for the price they pay .
Pull the Tru-blue 442 card out next time haha.

Someone I used to work with was being questioned by the judge and both side's lawyers as a potential juror. He was asked if he was a member of any group or organization. He answered "the NRA", and he was immediately dismissed. Just something to keep in mind.

Happened to me and about five others at the same time. It was a gang related affair and someone not related was hit at a public outside pool. I think she thought we gun lovers would let him off because of the use of a firearm, but the complete opposite was true.I'm sure (from talking with other released jurors) that he would have been given no slack for his irresponsible act...... I keep getting called for jury duty after I move away from a place. It's happened to me three different times.
