Put the traps in your neighbor's yard. They attack the beetles

The Dynatraps work fantastic. Japanese beatles, flies of all kinds, small white moths, mosquitos. Uses a soft UV light and a fan to draw them down to a screened chamber where they expire of exposure. You can add bait for even better mosquito results. Seems to do a ideal job on pests, if there are insects of benefit caught, I am missing them, no bees, dragon flies or lightning bugs for sure. Reasonable cost.

Almost no stings now even at dusk.

We have an LP Gas fired mosquito magnet that works pretty well on mosquitos and gnats. Also running a lighted unit in the kitchen dynatrap is the brand.. You can see some little buggers in there too

We apply grub x mid June it helps some but still have plenty of jap beetles in our rose garden at work . The traps we get here are baited with pheromones so I feel they actually attract the beetles , but at least they go in the traps . Some years are worse than others .

May have to try grub X next year before they become air borne
I have two 5 gallon buckets half full of the dead and dying beetles... soapy dish water seems to kill em all once they get into the traps and then dumped into the "pool"
