My JS1 still has the original 425 in it, however, I'm in the process of doing an LS swap. Ha! Just kidding, lol!

I've got multiples as do others, 330's to 455's. I like them all but am partial to the big blocks, early 400, 425 & 455.

Back in the day...........

There was a time I had both a BBO ('69 Toro) and SBO, and later two SBOs ('70 Cutlass Supreme 'vert), now I'm down to just one SBO. At the time I owned the Toro, I had another 455 parked next to it in my garage: '76 T/A 4-spd. I miss those big blocks.

Put me down for all of the above (except the doorstop 260). Add the 215 to the list also.

76olds i would build a bbo for a frankeinstine build like my current 355. Im only gonna go so fast on a tight budget with out cubes. Once im done and cannot make my 355 faster then i wil go BBO. Atleast i would be going BBO once i had no choice lol. Still not giving up on my 355.

I didn't see an option for 468 with greater than 1hp / cubic inch so I voted the next best thing and put 455...

Oldsmobiledave. I just might. I'm gonna shed about 200 lbs from the car this winter and try a looser converter. That should put me into the deep 12's like 12.2 ish maybe lower. Then ported heads will go on and I think it might be realisitc to get an 11.9x Right now it's 12.45 with a 1.75 60 ft. Car weighs 3400 with me in it.

Chevy? Hell no.

It is a 355 Olds with big block iron heads ported by the Freak, hydraulic flat tappet cam, and 10.5:1 compression. It resides in my 80 Cutlass. It last saw the drag strip in 2014. I upgraded a few things and it is ready for the dyno now, just need to find the time.

But the 215 is rated at 185 HP in 4bbl form.

Keep in mind that's only a 2600 lb car.

Two 350 equipped cars in the garage right now, one car will be leaving to be replaced by one with a 260 which will be upgraded to a 455 before long.
