hot mail musterbluck, out of business

I will evidently have no email for a month due to iggernut microsoft antics

They wanted my acct verified or some shyt
jump thru all these hoops
no you can't use that email as backup or the other one or the other other one
finally found one that was acceptable
could not get into it to get the code they sent there

they want to send a text or phone call to the home phone
no other phone is allowed
we no longer have a phone connected to the house landline so that will not work

AAAAAAAAAAAARGH.

they say that in 30 days they will send a key to the other other other email address. Oh joy. By them I will have 400,000 spam crap emails waiting.

If you want to get ahold of me, use the PHONE

well it came from both at work and at home, logging in via the usual method.

What a PITA

The wife managed to fix it

Do you have more details on that of which you speak?
Sounds like an insidious scam faux danger alert
which I would believe, maybe came from naughty sites, but I never ever visit naughty sites at work of course.

I know it's MS - That's my point. MS does crazy things, like they're possessed by the Robot Devil or something.

Yahoo may not be the best in the universe, but they don't bust your cojones.

Yeah, that or a variation of that. I have been using IE forever and don't have the problems that everyone complains about. I have problems that are generated from my IP, basically fluctuations in speed. But IE seems to work flawlessly most times. I don't understand all the complaints.

I thought of this many years ago!

They will soon i bet.
If you are still ont heir webmail, then you had to have clicked a button to allow them to scan every email and use, sell, and or distrubite the data for advertising and "other" purposes. Only way around it was to abandon it or set up IMAP mail (uses outlook or such). I did the latter. I suspect that ride to end soon.
I remember long ago they would periodically ask for an alternate email or a phone number, neither I would give. Alternate email? Not everyone has more than one...
Even the ISP I am with has informed us that it would scan emails also like yahoo, but at least it gave the ability to opt out (or at least that is what it said - what they do may be different.
