Have to vent this Canadian Business

A heads up to anyone into CNC machining & Tooling here in Canada.
I took on a 120" X 45" hand transfer Die from DIE FORM TOOL & DIE , 7825 TRANMERE DR. MISSISSAUGA, ON L5S 1V5.
This company decided to pull the DIE back in house since the hired a couple of Machinists.
I Invoiced for the work completed with your normal NET 30 , This company began machining what was not completed by my shop.
They took pictures of mistakes made, however not by my shop. Then refused to pay my Invoice!!
My mistake, I should have taken pictures of all the work I had completed !! However I did not.
If their are any CNC Machine shop guys here, I would stay away from DIE FORM TOOL DIE .
I'm considering a law suit .

Eric, you can take them to small claims, win and get a judgement against them, that's about all you will get because there isn't any way to enforce the judgement.
Been there done that and my advice unless you have proof and it is a larger than small claims court you will be tied up in litigation for years eating away at any money you hoped to get.

Steve, it does exceed the small claims court amount. I was so pissed I went and demanded payment since it was now 2 1/2 months. He blurted out " I was threatening him" so I got in my truck and left.
This is the first time in my 9 years being in business. I should have taken pictures of what I completed before allowing them to pick up ther Die sections etc.
I hear you on the litigation end of it, I have heard some horror stories with others in the business.
I'm just pissed at the moment and trying to let it go.

Cheers Steve !
