Gilmore Car Museum Musclecar Show pics
There is a '69 W30 that was there (in the pics) that I had seen there a couple of times before, but had not seen anyone with the car. This time near the end of the show we saw the owner, we commented that he looked familiar, so I decided to go talk with him before he left. He found the car in an old chicken coop! (1986). It had the red fender wells, scoops, 4spd w/the sport steering wheel, unfornunately the original drive train was missing. He found the correct components and restored it. It also was originally a 4:33 car. He asked if I had ever been to the Olds show in Lansing...Homecoming, to which I replied, since the second year it started. He has been going since the first one, and sells there at the swap meet..which is probably why we recognized him. Really nice guy to talk to.
