I remember his being on Joe Leno's Garage trying to drive a car. He had lived in New York most of his life and never driven a car.

 

One of the most annoying voices ever, but a hilarious man with a wicked and biting sense of humor.

When the news said yesterday that a comedian with a distinctive voice had died, my first thought was Bobcat Goldthwait. Then it turned out to be Gottfried.

 

I remember reading something about his last tweet was commenting on the Chris Rock/Will Smith slap but never read it.
